S4 Prelims begin on Monday 19 January. All pupils should now be familiar with the Prelim Timetable<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Good luck to all of our S4 pupils.<\/p>\n

Examination Prayer<\/em><\/p>\n

by Bishop Stephen McGill<\/em><\/p>\n

Dear Lord, please help me in my examinations.<\/em><\/p>\n

Help me to face them with courage,<\/em><\/p>\n

steady in nerves and keen in mind.<\/em><\/p>\n

Please help me to grasp fully<\/em><\/p>\n

the questions that are asked,<\/em><\/p>\n

to remember all that I have studied,<\/em><\/p>\n

to express my answers accurately<\/em><\/p>\n

and with the completeness desired.<\/em><\/p>\n

Grant me dear Lord, a due sense of timing,<\/em><\/p>\n

and let me not waste precious minutes in<\/em><\/p>\n

useless asides and unwanted digressions.<\/em><\/p>\n

Before I hand in my papers,<\/em><\/p>\n

Give me the wisdom<\/em><\/p>\n

to examine what I have written,<\/em><\/p>\n

and the alertness of mind to detect<\/em><\/p>\n

and correct any mistakes I may have made.<\/em><\/p>\n

Lord grant me success<\/em><\/p>\n

if success is good for me.<\/em><\/p>\n

But I know that you know what is best for me.<\/em><\/p>\n

With loving trust therefore I say,<\/em><\/p>\n

“Whatever the results,<\/em><\/p>\n
