{"id":29219,"date":"2023-02-10T14:05:27","date_gmt":"2023-02-10T13:05:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/?p=29219"},"modified":"2023-02-10T14:05:27","modified_gmt":"2023-02-10T13:05:27","slug":"remembering-james-mcvittie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/remembering-james-mcvittie\/","title":{"rendered":"Remembering James McVittie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is with great sadness that the community of St Ninian\u2019s learned of the passing of the School\u2019s First Head Teacher, James McVittie, earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>James was appointed Head Teacher of St Ninian\u2019s in late 1983, taking up post in April 1984 in preparation for the opening of the school later that year.
