Speakers will be sharing their own stories and expertise on a variety of subjects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You can see the schedule of talks <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.speakersforschools.org\/inspiration\/vtalks\/upcoming-vtalks\/\"><strong>here!<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Upcoming talks include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Paul Williams, Producer, BBC Natural History<\/strong> <strong>Unit <\/strong>will give insights to students on the work of a Wildlife Producer for TV. He will explore with S1-3 students what it takes to make a nature programme and how they do it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>David Morrissey, Actor and Director <\/strong>will give a short introduction to his career and journey, then S4-6 will be given the opportunity to submit questions for David to answer!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Baroness Natalie Bennett, <\/strong>Former Leader of the Green Party will talk with S1-3 students about the environment and what we can do to reduce plastic usage and waste.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>VTalks supports the Developing the Young Workforce curriculum by aiming to <em>encourage diverse thinking in children and young people to consider a broader view of subject choices, career options and job opportunities.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Schedules of upcoming VTalks will be sent out weekly<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monday 27<sup>th<\/sup> April, 10am: Richard Murrell, Lead Director, BBC News<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Ever wondered what it takes to make news programmes? Richard Murrell will explore with students what a broadcaster does and what you might expect from the job role.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 28<sup>th<\/sup> April, 10am: Marco Bertozzi, Vice President for Europe, Spotify <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Marco will be interviewed by SFS and answer questions submitted by students on topics ranging from creating your CV, getting your foot in the door for work experience or a job, developing your personal brand and practical tips on how to get started with preparing your social channels for career success.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Thursday 30<sup>th<\/sup> April, 10am: Penguin Talks in Collaboration with SFS &#8211; How to boss your mood <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Chloe Brotheridge (Clinical Hypnotherapist and author of The Anxiety Solution) and Sara Milne Rowe (Performance Coach, founder of Coaching Impact and author of The SHED Method)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Chloe and Sara will kick-off the Virtual Penguin Talks series by sharing their expertise and practical tips for managing anxiety and taking control of your mood during these uncertain times. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive a free audiobook download of The Anxiety Solution and The SHED Method.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>No logins are required and all attendees can stream the talks without downloading Microsoft Teams.<\/p>\n<p>Links should be opened in a browser that is not Internet Explorer. Students can view by clicking WATCH TALK LIVE HERE and then clicking \u2018Watch on web instead\u2019 and sign in anonymously.
