{"id":25590,"date":"2020-03-20T16:18:01","date_gmt":"2020-03-20T15:18:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/?p=25590"},"modified":"2020-03-20T16:28:01","modified_gmt":"2020-03-20T15:28:01","slug":"letter-to-parents-school-closure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/letter-to-parents-school-closure\/","title":{"rendered":"Letter to Parents &#8211; School Closure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">Dear Parent \/ Carer,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">You will be aware of the recent decision by the First Minister that all s<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">chools and local authority early learning and childcare settings should close to children and young people with effect from 5 p.m. today (Friday 20 March 2019)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">With the exception of families who are part of the vital services required at this time and those children and young people as identified by the Scottish Government, schools will be closed to all pupils. We have made provision for those pupils\u00a0 to attend St Ninian\u2019s High School on Monday 23 March. Pupils should report the main forum area for registration purposes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">A programme for completion of SQA coursework to best support the young people, not identified above, is currently being prepared and will be issued to parents \/ carers. Pupils should, when informed, attend school in order to complete this work.
