{"id":25516,"date":"2020-03-11T09:23:59","date_gmt":"2020-03-11T08:23:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/?p=25516"},"modified":"2020-03-11T09:23:59","modified_gmt":"2020-03-11T08:23:59","slug":"teenage-booster-immunisations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/teenage-booster-immunisations\/","title":{"rendered":"Teenage Booster Immunisations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday 16<sup>th<\/sup> March the DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio) and MenACWY (Meningococcal) vaccinations will be administered by NHS staff in school to S3 girls and boys .<\/p>\n<p>There will also be a catch up DTP\/MenACWY vaccination for certain S4 \u2013 S6 pupils, along with a catch up HPV for certain S1 \u2013 S6 pupils.<\/p>\n<p>Parents\/carers should have received in advance an NHS parent information and consent pack, which explains the immunisation programme.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils should attend school on Monday 16<sup>th<\/sup> March wearing a short-sleeved shirt or their PE polo shirt underneath their shirt.<\/p>\n<p>Please ensure that pupils eat breakfast before coming to school and have plenty of water to keep hydrated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday 16th March the DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio) and MenACWY (Meningococcal) vaccinations will be administered by NHS staff in school to S3 girls and boys .
