Olympic Torch Relay<\/p>\n

The Olympic Torch will be carried along\u00a0 Fenwick Rd on Friday 8 June after school finishes. The torch is expected at Orchard Dr just after 5.00pm and will continue to Eastwood Toll.<\/h4>\n

A street party begins after school finishes at 2.40pm. All pupils will be expected to attend school for the full afternoon. The support of parents in this matter will be appreciated. More details from the ERC website can be seen from the links below:

\nOlympic Torch Relay Route<\/a><\/p>\n

Street entertainers and sports demonstrations just along from the Giffnock shops will start at 3.30 pm<\/strong> and keep the crowds entertained until the Olympic Flame arrives.<\/p>\n

Road Closures<\/h4>\n

In order to provide a safe environment, \u00a0a section of the A77 Fenwick Road, in Giffnock will be closed between Orchard Drive and Eastwood Toll from 2.30pm – 6.30pm.<\/p>\n
