{"id":22745,"date":"2019-03-15T10:00:19","date_gmt":"2019-03-15T09:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/?p=22745"},"modified":"2019-03-15T10:00:19","modified_gmt":"2019-03-15T09:00:19","slug":"annual-st-josephs-day-breakfast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/annual-st-josephs-day-breakfast\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual St Joseph\u2019s Day Breakfast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-22734\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/files\/2019\/03\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"332\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Annual St Joseph\u2019s Day Breakfast<\/strong> to mark the Solemnity of St Joseph will take place at 8.am on Tuesday 19 March in School.<\/p>\n<p>At 8am, the prayer of St Joseph will be said and Monsignor Monaghan will give a short input on the theme of <strong><em>\u2018The Table of St Joseph and the Dignity of Work\u2019.<\/em><\/strong> After a short time for discussion we will celebrate the Mass of St Joseph and 8.25am followed by breakfast for parents and some students.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Table of St Joseph<\/em> is a Sicilian Tradition to mark the Solemnity bringing people together in friendship and concern for the poor. The tradition invites people to bring with them a donation of perhaps cash, though more traditionally food, which placed on the Table of St Joseph, would then be distributed to the needy.
