{"id":22528,"date":"2019-02-26T10:10:03","date_gmt":"2019-02-26T09:10:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/?p=22528"},"modified":"2019-02-26T10:15:50","modified_gmt":"2019-02-26T09:15:50","slug":"millport-trip-tuesday-2-april-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/millport-trip-tuesday-2-april-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Millport Trip &#8211; Tuesday 2 April 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-22529\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/files\/2019\/02\/Slide1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We have organised our annual trip to Millport this year on <strong>Tuesday 2 April 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The intention is to have a relaxing day, cycling round the island and then giving pupils the chance to relax and enjoy the remainder of our day.<\/p>\n<p>The arrangements are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>9.20am\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Leave St Ninian\u2019s High School<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>10.30am\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Arrive at Largs<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>10.45am\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ferry to Millport<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cycling and Relaxing<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>5.00pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Return to Largs<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>5.15pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Leave Largs<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>6.00pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Arrive at St Ninian\u2019s High School<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The cost for each pupil is <strong>\u00a315<\/strong>.\u00a0 This covers the cost of transport, hire of a bike and helmet.\u00a0 The hire of a local hall will provide us with a place to enjoy a break\/toilet facilities etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What to bring:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Packed lunch \/ money to buy lunch in one of the local shops or caf\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<li>Snacks<\/li>\n<li>Water<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate Clothing\n<ul>\n<li>Leggings\/shorts<\/li>\n<li>Warm\/windproof top<\/li>\n<li>Waterproof jacket<\/li>\n<li>Gloves<\/li>\n<li>Trainers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Sunscreen<\/li>\n<li>Sunglasses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you would like your son\/daughter to take part in the day trip then please complete and return the tear off slip\u00a0on the letter\u00a0which can be obtained from the school office to Mr Fuchs no later than <strong>Friday 22 March<\/strong>.
