With God\u2019s guiding hand let us seek to reach our potential in all that we do. Let us put our trust in God to lead us safely through each day and along the path that he chooses for us. Let us pray together to God our Father:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s5\">Our Father\u2026\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s2\">Tuesday 11 December 2018<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s4\">This time of year can be very busy with lots of preparation both at home and in school. However, during this time it is important to prepare spiritually. We should try to find peace, strength and encouragement in Jesus\u2019s message. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s4\">As we reflect on this, we <\/span><span class=\"s4\">reali<\/span><span class=\"s4\">s<\/span><span class=\"s4\">e<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> the importance of asking the Lord our Father for guidance and support, particularly during this busy period of Advent. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s6\">Our <\/span><span class=\"s6\">F<\/span><span class=\"s6\">ather\u2026<\/span><span class=\"s6\">..<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s2\">Wednesday 12 December 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s4\">On 12<\/span><span class=\"s7\">th<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> December 1901, Italian physicist and radio pioneer Marconi succeeded in sending the first radio transmission across the Atlantic Ocean. The message was sent from Cornwall in England to Newfoundland in Canada, a distance of over 2000 miles. \u00a0Marconi was a pioneer in worldwide communications and after<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> his transatlantic transmission,<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> his discoveries received world attention. In 1909, he received the Nobel Prize in physics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s4\">Dear Lord, we pray for peace in our world. Not just the absence of war but good communications and trusting relationships between all nations. We pray that national leaders continue to strive for other ways to end disputes rather than war. Please help us to know what we can do to promote true peace in our world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s6\">Our Father<\/span><span class=\"s6\">\u2026..<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s2\">Thursday 13 December 2018<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s4\">Today we listen to Pope Benedict&#8217;s Prayer for Strength during Advent<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s8\">Come Jesus;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s8\">Come, give strength to the light and to the good; <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s8\">Come where dishonesty, ignorance of God, violence and injustice dominate; <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s8\">Come, Lord Jesus, give strength to the good in the world and help us to be bearers of your light, workers of peace, witnesses of truth. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s8\">Come Lord Jesus!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s6\">Our Father\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s6\">Friday 14 December 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s4\">Whether <\/span><span class=\"s4\">its<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> prelims or family relationships, or even little money to spend on the weekend, we can often worry about many things in life. \u00a0Sometimes, these worries can be given so much attention that we forget how much God loves us and that He wants to take care of us, if only we let Him. \u00a0So, as we approach Lent, let us ask God to take away our worries and to take care of everything, knowing that He doesn\u2019t break His promises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s4\">Lord Jesus, I thank you for bringing me to school today. \u00a0Exams and homework are difficult sometimes and I can get stressed out or anxious about them. \u00a0 For <\/span><span class=\"s4\">Y<\/span><span class=\"s4\">ou<\/span><span class=\"s4\">, nothing is impossible so I surrender all my efforts of school to you, Jesus. \u00a0Through the prayers of Mary my Mother, take care of everything.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s6\">Hail Mary\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monday 10 December 2018.
