Well done to Freeja Nolan (1a7) who\u00a0has had a very successful year with her Traditional Music. In the summer holidays this year she was part of a band that won the World Championships that took place in Ireland.\u00a0 From this the band have been asked to play and walk up the red carpet at a Infinitime Music Awards\u00a0Ceremony taking place in Glasgow this weekend.<\/p>\n
As it is the Year of the Young People in Scotland, Freeja and the band have also been invited to play at the Scottish Parliament for a 70th Anniversary celebration for the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on the Wednesday 12 December.<\/p>\n
