He is in touch with what is happening to us and He is concerned. When we feel loneliness, we must remember that we are not alone. God has promised to be with us over and over in the Old and New testaments. We need to learn to lean on his promises and receive His peace.

If you feel alone, say the little prayer

“Sweet heart of Jesus I place all my trust in you”.

St Paul wrote to the Romans : “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? ….I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, the present or the future…nor any powers nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord”

Put your trust in God being with you always. Hold fast to God’s word. And do this with all your heart and all your soul.

Pray that we will all walk in the light.

Our Father…………..

We pray for the Holy Souls.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. St Albert was one our churches greatest thinkers and learners and we pray in our school life we can aspire to learn and develop as he did.

Let us pray. O God, Who did richly adorn Saint Albert with Thy heavenly gifts and did decorate him with all virtues: grant us, Thy servants, that we may follow in his footsteps, may persevere in Thy service until death and securely obtain an everlasting reward. Through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Our Lord. Margaret was an English princess. She and her mother sailed to Scotland to escape from the king who had conquered their homeland. King Malcolm of Scotland welcomed them, fell in love with the beautiful princess and they were married. King Malcolm and Queen Margaret led by example and helped to change Scotland for the better. Margaret worked hard to obtain good teachers and have new and beautiful churches built to allow others to share in the Glory of God. She is known for her work to bring education to the people of Scotland and for her great work for the poor.

In 1250 she was canonised by Pope Innocent IV and her remains were originally reinterred in a shrine at Dunfermline Abbey. We are all called to be saints in our own way. May we take St Margaret as our example of how to share God’s Glory.

Hail Mary…

Monday 12 November 2018.
