Congratulations and good luck to former St Ninian’s High School pupil Kiran Sawar who has been nominated for a BAFTA Scotland award for her role in Black Mirror (Crocodile).\u00a0 She has also had roles in BBC dramas ‘Casualty’ and ‘Holby City.’<\/p>\n

In an interview with www.glasgowlive.co.uk she said of her time at St Ninian’s:<\/p>\n

I did Drama as a Higher in my Sixth Year at St Ninian’s High in Giffnock.\u00a0 I really really enjoyed it and in Drama you were allowed to play who you wanted to play.\u00a0 You were not inhibited\u00a0by your race and class.\u00a0 I got to play characters such as Abigail\u00a0from the Crucible.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
