The U16 football team have reached the Scottish Shield Final after a 3-1 victory over St Columba’s.\u00a0 This is the first time a St Ninian’s team has reached a national final since 2006.\u00a0 On a gloriously sunny night at Renfrew Juniors the team put in a heroic performance\u00a0to earn their place in the final which will take place shortly after Easter.<\/p>\n
Goals were scored by Husnain Mansoor, Kastriot Maloku and James O’Hara.\u00a0 Central midfielder James Lamont was Man-of-the-Match with an outstanding individual performance though every member of the squad deserves great credit.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Well done to Mr McKean and all the boys on this magnificent achievement.\u00a0 Also, the support from fellow pupils, parents and staff was fantastic and greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n
