One of the many Information Evenings parents tell us they value is the S1 Mathematics Workshop. Over the years, a number of parents have expressed a desire to raise their awareness of the current Maths teaching methodologies being used within the classroom.<\/p>\n
The Mathematics department would like to invite parents\/guardians of S1 pupils to attend a workshop where they will learn about the Department\u2019s delivery of basic Maths skills and how these can be applied when helping their child at home. The workshop will take place on Tuesday 18 September<\/strong>. A short presentation will take place in the Forum at 7.00pm followed by workshops in Maths classrooms lasting for approximately one hour. Please note that the workshop is for parents\/guardians and pupils are not required to attend.<\/p>\n The department acknowledges and appreciates the active role that parents\/guardians take in their child\u2019s education and hope that you will be able to attend the workshop.
