{"id":17889,"date":"2017-11-28T16:15:15","date_gmt":"2017-11-28T15:15:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/?p=17889"},"modified":"2017-11-28T16:15:15","modified_gmt":"2017-11-28T15:15:15","slug":"bbc-search-for-volunteers-ages-14-25yrs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/bbc-search-for-volunteers-ages-14-25yrs\/","title":{"rendered":"BBC Search for volunteers ages 14-25yrs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/2017\/11\/16\/bbc-scotland-search-for-panel-of-young-people-dont-miss-this-amazing-opportunity\/bbcsn_banner\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-17669\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17669\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/StNinians\/files\/2017\/11\/BBCSN_Banner.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"259\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>BBC Scotland Next<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Young people across the country have the chance to shape BBC Scotland\u2019s future output across TV, radio and online.<\/p>\n<p>BBC Scotland are joining forces with Young Scot in the search for <strong>25 young people<\/strong> to help shape output across the corporation\u2019s services in a project aimed at attracting the audiences of the future.<\/p>\n<p>As part of Scotland\u2019s Year of Young People 2018; the broadcaster is seeking the experiences, insight and creativity of <strong>a team of young people who have grown up surrounded by the internet, multichannel and social media.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Called \u2018BBC Scotland NEXT\u2019, the group of volunteers, aged between 14-25, will embark on an 18 month long project.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pauline Law, Head of Multiplatform Production, BBC Scotland said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYoung people are themselves a hugely diverse group with widely differing life experiences, viewpoints, interests and concerns. We often hear young people dismissed as one united group \u2013 at its heart this project seeks to do more to reflect their diversity and celebrate their value in society.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe would encourage anyone aged between 14 and 25, who has a curiosity for important issues for young people, Scotland and the media, to apply for this opportunity.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe most important thing for us is that we get a range of young people applying from every walk of life.
