On 30 June 2016, Deacon Matthew Carlin will be ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Keenan in St John\u2019s Parish, Barrhead. As part of prayerful preparation for this, the Vocations Commission of Paisley Diocese has involved pupils of schools through an online social media project : Called and Chosen.<\/p>\n
This involves secondary pupils leading a daily reflection on the priesthood and the ordination rite. You may have involved yourself in this through Paisley Diocese\u2019s Vocations Facebook or our own RE Twitter Account : @St NiniansRE<\/p>\n
Our pupils will lead the reflections from Sunday 19 June to Saturday 25 June 2016. We will use these as our Morning Prayers from Monday 20 June and will establish a link to our School Website, School and RE Twitter Accounts.<\/p>\n
We are very pleased by the work of our pupils in this project and owe thanks to former pupil, Kirsty McGrath who edited the videos for us.<\/p>\n
