S1 Mandarin Taster Sessions
Immediately after the October break, all First Year pupils will experience a taster course in Mandarin. This will be taught by world-class Mandarin teacher Mrs Zhou and include learning about basic Mandarin greetings, numbers, nationality, hobbies and weather and also Chinese events and cultures.
St Ninian’s High School has a proud history in promoting Mandarin and Chinese studies, most notably winning the World Confucius Hub of the Year in 2013. Also many of our students have attended cultural trips to China and even been accepted for scholarships at Chinese universities.
We are delighted to continue to extend this opportunity to all First Year students.
