We continue to\u00a0work\u00a0closely with awarding bodies, partners and Scottish Government to quickly respond to issues arising from\u00a0the epidemic to support you and learners in the delivery of Foundation Apprenticeships.<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

We\u2019re contacting pupils who have submitted an expression of interest for a Foundation Apprenticeship via email to establish if they have completed an application with a learning provider or need additional support from SDS.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is being tested on a small batch before being rolled out more widely.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Over the next few weeks, we\u2019ll be sending a letter\u00a0to all Foundation Apprentices going into their second year.<\/span><\/p>\n

The letter will support the \u201ckeeping in touch\u201d process by providing additional reassurance from SDS, whilst highlighting the support available from SDS Careers Advisers to all learners.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A copy of the\u00a0letter will be shared\u00a0with all providers.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A reminder that SDS has support in place for individual FA learners through our Careers Advisers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Advisers are available over the phone or online. To speak to a school Careers Adviser,\u00a0call the\u00a0local centre and ask for them by name.\u202f\u202f<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of this enhanced support, SDS Careers Advisers have been contacting FA learners on a one to one basis via existing procedures.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
