We are Karmen and Derek and we are delighted to be the Head Girl and Head Boy for St Luke\u2019s High School for session 2023\/24.<\/p>\n
As the Pupil Leadership Team, we fully embody the visions, values and aims of St Luke\u2019s and\u00a0 Love, Faith, and Understanding underpin everything we do as a school community.<\/p>\n
We are proud to be role models for the younger pupils in our school and are delighted this year to lead our Pupil Forum. We strive to make sure the pupils in our school are heard and their ideas are valued.<\/p>\n
We aim for inclusion within our school community and our St Martin de Porres Group: Equalities United is a group established led by pupils. St Martin de Porres is the patron saint of social justice, racial harmony and mixed-race people \u2013 a genuine patron for our school group!<\/p>\n
There are so many opportunities to be involved in the life of the school including sports clubs and activities, cook club, textile club, drama club and a number of music groups \u2013 this can boost the confidence of pupils as well as providing them with new skills and abilities – meeting new friends is also good fun!<\/p>\n
We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to representing the pupils of St Luke\u2019s.<\/p>\n
