Religious Education

Religious Education is an Integral part of the Life of St Luke’s. As part of the core curriculum for all year groups our aim is to promote an ethos based on the core Gospel values of the Catholic Church, Faith, Hope, and Love. (See Beatitudes)

Spiritual development is at the heart of the purpose and existence of the school. With this in mind the curriculum aims to meet the academic and spiritual needs of the pupils. (See Programme of Study)

Additionally, weekly Masses, class Masses and spiritual retreats are organised by the school chaplain and the religious education team. The school has an Oratory, which is used for the benefit of the community.

We also have the Added Blessing of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The Oratory is open to all for a quiet time of reflection, with staff and pupils on Eucharistic duty on Wednesdays.
