Throughout the year we have integrated a variety of year group events which are specifically designed for ‘inter-disciplinary learning’ and fun!

S1 Design and Manufacture event where pupils design and create ‘machines with a purpose’!

S1 pupils visit a place of engineering interest.

S2 Engineering event where pupils have a variety of events that challenge their team-man-ship, and ability to work under pressure to complete several engineering tasks.

S3 Skills for Industry event where pupils are working in teams to design and build a weather shelter, among other things. If the shelter isn’t built well, the team will get wet as the hose water rains upon them!

Thereafter the faculty have a wide variety of class based visits and speakers who support the classroom teaching and learning.
