- 20 minutes of reading for enjoyment each day. E.R.I.C
- Primary 4-7 to complete Reading Passports and read as many books as possible.
- Classes will record books read on school bookcase display. Every time a child reads a book they add to the display. When the bookcase is filled a new one will pop up in the school.
- Every two weeks Primary 4, 5, 6 and 7 pupils will be selected to blog a book review for the school website and twitter.
- Invite parents to tweet us their favourite books and story characters.
- Visits to the Foundry and book of the month display.
- Visit from an Author.
- Library Committee to organise school competitions and events throughout the year.
- Regular showcasing at assemblies for outstanding pupil achievements.
- Regular tweets to @FMRC on our activities.
