RERC

Article 14: Every child has the right to think and believe what they want and to practise their religion, as long as they are not stopping other people from enjoying their rights.
Governments must respect the rights of parents to give their children information about this right.

Our RERC programmes and courses cover:

Catholic Christianity
Sacramental preparations
Other World Religions

The main aim of Religious Education in our school is to teach the Catholic Faith to the children in a way that is appropriate to their age and circumstances.  Our aim is to help children deepen their faith and live out Gospel values.

At St John’s’s we follow, ‘This Is Our Faith,’ the religious education syllabus for Catholic schools in Scotland.
