God’s Loving Plan.

We need your help!

We have applied for funding to create an outdoor classroom that will feature a gathering area, mud kitchen, craft area and story circle. To receive the funding we need lots and lots of votes. It’s going to be a tough competition on the day, with lots of organisations and project all competing for a slice of the funding. The projects with the most votes, gets the cash!

Here’s what you can do.

Only adults can vote, so we need as many parents, carers, aunts, uncles, grannies and grandpas to drop-in at the event this Saturday, any time between 12:30pm and 2:30pm to cast your vote for our project. Feel free to spread the word to families and friends too! Full details and a look at our design are attached below.

Community Voting Event

We recently applied for a Community Project Fund to restore and rejuvenate our school allotment area. We’re really excited to let you know we’ve made it through to the next round and have been selected to showcase our project on the 17th March at the Barrhead Foundry.

To secure funding we need as many votes as possible, so please, save the date, spread the word, we need your votes on the day. Please note, voting is open to adults only.

Here’s a sneak peek at our big idea!

We’ve been working alongside Young Enterprise Scotland to develop our big idea and create our proposal.

Our Idea, to breathe new life into the school allotment and develop  the space to create an outdoor, creative learning space. Our proposal includes the removal of the polytunnel and in its place,  a gathering/story area, craft area, mud kitchen, living wall and paths to improve access to the allotment and orchard. We want to make the area a more open creative place to learn, not only for our own pupils, but our families and small community groups. The allotment will be developed to include school plots sitting alongside community plots.

Chinese New Year

The cooking club were spoiled today when a couple  of our amazing parents dropped by to show us how to make spring rolls. Nicole (Sarah’s mum) with the help of Cheryl (Kai’s mum) introduced the group to the tastes and smells of chinese cooking. Nicole then showed the group how to roll and bake correctly. She also showed the children some traditional chinese decorations.
