On Sunday 9th December<\/strong>, we will have our Enrolment Ceremony for the Sacrament of Confirmation<\/strong> during the 10 o\u2019clock Mass. Children should sit with their parents and sponsor and are asked to wear school uniform (a white shirt and tie).<\/p>\n

During Mass, Monsignor Monaghan will invite the children to process to the altar and present their petition in the form of a Letter for the Rite of Enrolment. In return, every child will be given a copy of the Baptismal Promises.<\/p>\n

The children will write their Letter of Enrolment in school and it should be counter-signed by you. This letter is an essential part of the ceremony and it is important that your child is encouraged to take full responsibility for bringing it with them to the Mass. All children intending to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this year should participate in this ceremony.<\/p>\n

If you have not already done so, please complete and return the Baptismal Record and photograph tear-off slip to your child\u2019s class teacher as soon as possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If your child is not preparing for Reception of this Sacrament, they are very welcome to attend and receive a blessing.<\/p>\n
