Good luck to Primary 4b and 4d who are making their First Holy Communion at 10 a.m. on Saturday the 18th May in St. Cadoc’s church. Our thoughts and prayers are with them on this special day.
We would appreciate if you could be mindful of the neighbours when parking at the church so that everyone is safe.
After Mass, there will be lots of time for photographs so we ask that no photographs are taken during the Mass. At the end of Mass, the official photographer will take two class photographs. As the children will be moving around at this time, we ask that you remain in your seats until both of these photographs have been taken.
Many thanks for your support.

The Primary 7 Information Evening for parents and pupils will take place on Tuesday 14th May at 7pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to obtain important information for their children who will begin S1 in August 2019 in the new session. There will be the opportunity to meet staff from all departments and to have a tour of the school. St. Ninian’s staff look forward to welcoming as many young people (in school uniform ) and parents as possible.

The Sacrament of First Reconciliation will be celebrated in St. Cadoc’s Church on Monday 11th March at 7pm. The children will sit together as a group and will receive individual Confession and absolution during the service.
St Ninian’s High School Lenten Service will take place at 4.00pm on Tuesday 12 March 2019 in the School.
The Service will be led by Fr Stephen Baillie and will include
the Rosary and some time for Lenten Meditation with the

This year, St. Ninian’s Primary 7 Information Evening will be held on Tuesday 14th May at 7pm for pupils and parents.
On Sunday 9th December, we will have our Enrolment Ceremony for the Sacrament of Confirmation during the 10 o’clock Mass. Children should sit with their parents and sponsor and are asked to wear school uniform (a white shirt and tie).
During Mass, Monsignor Monaghan will invite the children to process to the altar and present their petition in the form of a Letter for the Rite of Enrolment. In return, every child will be given a copy of the Baptismal Promises.
The children will write their Letter of Enrolment in school and it should be counter-signed by you. This letter is an essential part of the ceremony and it is important that your child is encouraged to take full responsibility for bringing it with them to the Mass. All children intending to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this year should participate in this ceremony.
If you have not already done so, please complete and return the Baptismal Record and photograph tear-off slip to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible.
If your child is not preparing for Reception of this Sacrament, they are very welcome to attend and receive a blessing.
Thank you once again for your support as we work together to prepare the children during this special time.
