WecMed2014: Scottish Medical Applications Workshop, on Sat, 6 Sep, 2-5PM, organised by Doctors, Dentists and Medical Students, at the Woodfarm Education Centre (WEC), 1 Burns Grove, Giffnock, G46 7HF
This unique and first of its kind Workshop is aimed at aspiring medical students keen to find out more about the selection process to enter Medical and Dental Schools. WecMed serves to inform and prepare students in years S5 and S6 throughout the entire process through a comprehensive programme including the following:
– Faculty and Student Experience sharing – is medical school for you?

– Personal Statement (PS) Help Centre: Tips and advice on how to write a clear and concise personal statement.
– Admission exam walkthrough: top tips for the UKCAT Advice on all 5 sections (VR, AR, QR, DA, SJT), with worked examples of each and time management techniques.
