Faith Matters (Week Beginning 30 March ’15)
The following Faith events are taking place in school this week:
- Morning Mass – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in the Oratory, 8.25am
NOTE: There will be no morning Mass on Thursday this week (Holy Thursday).
All parents, pupils and staff are most welcome to attend.

- Stations of the Cross – Friday in the Oratory, 12.25pm

St Joseph’s Parish ‘Parents in Prayer’ Lenten Service
The St Joseph’s Parish ‘Parents in Prayer’ Lenten Service will take place on Tuesday 24 March at 8pm. It will start with Stations of the Cross on the theme of SCIAF followed by Eucharistic Adoration with the Sacrament of Reconciliation available. Tea and coffee will be served afterwards in the Hall.
Weekly Prayers
Lent
The SCIAF group’s next Lenten event will be a 24 Hour Sponsored Fast which will take place on Friday 20 March. Pupils can can participate in the full fast (S4-6) or through making another sacrifice e.g. no mobile phone, no meat, no chocolate (S1-3). Further details are available from Mrs McCoy.
Many thanks to the Helping Hands Charity Group who held a Bingo Night on Wednesday. Thank you to Miss McLuskey, Miss Scroggie and Mrs McCoy for organising this event.
The English Department held an S1/2 Readathon for SCIAF. Thank you to all pupils and staff involved.
The RE Department continue to make SCIAF contributions on a weekly basis. All donations are greatly appreciated.
