We are aware that there are problems accessing digital classrooms today. Here are the tasks which have been posted. Please work through the materials, but remember to submit your work to your own teacher through your digital classroom, when it becomes available.

S1 – Grammar Revision work – Please work on these activities until you can access your Google Classroom. 1 Apostrophes worksheet 2 Quotations worksheet
S2 – Creative Writing practice – Imagine that you have access to a time machine and can go backwards or forwards to the setting of a story you have read. You are allowed
to send one post-card home to 2021 describing what this place is like and what
you have been doing. Select your words carefully! On your page,
create the layout of a postcard. Include the address, make up a suitable
stamp and in no more than 100 words, tell your reader what you’ve been doing. Perhaps you have bumped into one of the characters from the story and have had a conversation? Create a Word doc or a Google Doc and submit it to your Google Classroom when it is available.
S3 – Reading for Understanding, Analysis and Evaluation revision – Please work on these passages between Monday and Wednesday. The marking schemes are available on the S3 Year Group Google Classroom for English. On Thursday, we will post an RUAE assessment which must be completed by Friday at 5pm. 2. S4 – Your first piece of work is a Reading for Understanding, Analysis and Evaulation passage. You should only spend ONE HOUR on this. Please time yourself accordingly. For further instructions, refer to your own google classroom and your class teacher will issue guidance to help you complete the task if necessary. S5/6 – Read the task brief for instructions.(Word document) Whole year group task: Deadline for persuasive essay to be submitted to your teacher via the assignment function on your own class’s Google Classroom: Wednesday 13th January.
