This course is a direct follow on from the National 5 course, incorporating various aspects of drawing techniques; some that have been covered already as well as some that will be new.
As well as the coursework, there is also a project folio to be created which takes the form of a thematic presentation including orthographic sketching, manual rendering, 3D computer modelling and desk-top publishing (DTP). This thematic goes some way towards the final award as does the final exam.
Within the exam there are a mix of knowledge and understanding questions that will test knowledge of areas such as British Standards and CAD commands.
