Our S2 Chemistry Course consists of 4 units which provide an excellent foundation for both the National 4 and 5 courses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unit 1 – Becoming a Chemist<\/span>
\nUnit 2 – Everyday Chemistry<\/span>
\nUnit 3 – Chemistry of Life<\/span>
\nUnit 4 – Chemistry for the Future<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the S2 Chemistry course, pupils have the opportunity to develop scientific inquiry and investigative skills as well as analytical thinking skills.<\/span> \u00a0Pupils will make use of technology and a range of chemical apparatus through safe and purposeful practical work.<\/span> \u00a0Skills will be developed which are essential for the Senior Phase curriculum and beyond, and are also transferrable across curricular areas.<\/span> \u00a0This will provide pupils with a range of skills which they can continue to develop as they progress through a range of curricular pathways and onto positive and sustainable destinations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
