Last week we wrote a descriptive piece about a haunted house using metaphors. Today we are using our Success Criteria in Feedback Circles for Peer Assessment. This feedback will be used to help us “Up-level” our writing tomorrow.

p5a started our Sumdog challenge today. As you can see, we are rather competitive 😬

Today P5a made pumpkin soup and roasted pumpkin seeds. Tomorrow we will be using our notes to write an instructional piece – a recipe for pumpkin soup. 🎃

We have been learning to sort living things into categories, eg, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fish and birds.

We learned all about William Wallace. Using the skill of note taking, we then made Biographies about him and then applied our knowledge to make a portrait of him using oil pastels. 

We learned all about profit and loss.
