Today during writing time we created a letter to send to Mr Hutcheson about what we would like to do to mark COP26 in Glasgow. We think there’s great eco-friendly things we could do for our school and our community!

We had a team building activity afternoon that allowed us to have some fun and work together. We did this activity in groups led by Annmarie, Kim and Laura. Thanks to them! Some of us had more success than others with the water balloons as you can see! Blog by ~ Mia

Steve came in and brought some equipment for our outdoor learning session! We had no instructions we just let our imaginations run free. All of the groups were very creative and strategic builders! We’re going to keep working n our ability to agree and disagree resectfully. Blog by ~ Mia.

We have been playing more Countdown lately to improve our mental agility to handle calculations in real life.  The game asks you to take six numbers and then try and reach a big target number. Well done to Lena And Johnny for being the two fastest to reach the target number! We’re all learning from each other and talking about strategies. Practise makes perfect! Blog by ~ MIa

We are so looking forward to performing this afternoon! We’re currently creating our props and costumes for our space themed drama!

We enjoyed taking part in the Cluster Challenge today where we undertook some activities and had our scores recorded. These will be compared with the other Cluster P7 scores next week! Well done to Mia who demonstrated wonderful levels of fitness in the 10 minute run and achieved the highest number of lengths!

Many thanks to Mr Hull who visited the school to teacher the children about coding! We used the Spheros and the MicroBits. We have learned lots of new skills that we look forward to developing!
