Aysha created and presented a PowerPoint on Ramadan and Islam to teach P6a about her beliefs.
Well done to Rafay who build on Aysha’s presentation with his own knowledge.
P6a continued their 1+2 lessons in Italian today revising greetings and numbers. They learned some names of common animals and then combined Italian with ICT by using IPads to research some common landmarks and food in Italy. They children commented that this related to their Europe topic and made them want to learn about Italy even more.
As part of their social studies topic, P6a have been learning about Norway, which also links to their current novel study.
They have been learning about the phenomenon called Aurora borealis known as “The Northern Lights” are created. They then used chalk pastels to create their own interpretation of the images they had seen.
Pupils have been issued with their Bikeability letters today. This contains important dates and a consent form. Could this please be filled in and returned by Wednesday 19th February.
