1 year to go- Commonwealth Sports and Dance Showcase: August 2013

In 2014 Glasgow will host the Commonwealth Games and to celebrate ‘ 1 year to go’ East Renfrewshire Council will be holding a Sport and Dance showcase at the new Eastwood High facilities.

This event will encourage children in P4-S2 within East Renfrewshire to take part in 5 taster sessions in a hope that they will join a local club .The event is FREE but children need to book on.

The main aim of the event is to offer young people the opportunity to try Commonwealth Games sports, dance activities and a variety of other sports within their community and create pathways to local clubs and organisations signposting their programmes and activities.

This event will take place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August 2013- THIS WEEKEND!!

It is a great opportunity and we would like as many children taking part as possible click here for more information.
