RITE OF ENROLMENT 25<\/b>th<\/sup><\/b> and 26<\/b>th<\/sup><\/b>\u00a0 NOVEMBER 2017\u00a0<\/b>JOSEPH\u2019S CHURCH
\n<\/b>There will be a short Rite of Enrolment during all masses on the weekend of 25th<\/sup>\u00a0 and 26th<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0 November in St. Joseph\u2019s Church. This is for all children who will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation in St. Mirin\u2019s Cathedral on 25th<\/sup> April 2018.
\nParents should bring their child to any Mass and ideally sponsors should attend, if they live locally. Sponsors should be over the age of 16 and a practising Catholic. Father will address the parents, sponsors, children and then the parish community asking that we all work together to support the children in their preparation to receive the Holy Spirit.
\nChildren should wear their own clothes, NOT school uniform.
\nThe children will be writing a letter to Bishop John, asking to receive the Sacrament. They will outline the reasons why they have chosen their saint\u2019s name as an inspiration in their daily lives.
\nA letter will be sent home so that it can be counter signed by parents\/carers. They will present this letter to Fr. Stephen at the Mass.
\nReminder of Mass times in St. Joseph\u2019s Church \u2013 Saturday Vigil 6pm, Sunday Masses 10am 12 noon and 6pm.<\/p>\n
