{"id":7511,"date":"2016-11-16T16:41:59","date_gmt":"2016-11-16T15:41:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/OurLadyMissions\/?p=7511"},"modified":"2016-11-16T16:41:59","modified_gmt":"2016-11-16T15:41:59","slug":"help-st-josephs-primary-with-their-school-garden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/OurLadyMissions\/2016\/11\/16\/help-st-josephs-primary-with-their-school-garden\/","title":{"rendered":"Help St Joseph&#8217;s Primary with their school garden"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>St Joseph&#8217;s Primary are in the process of setting up a school garden using some funding we received from the Food for Thought Project.\u00a0 Our children have been very ambitious in their ideas and we realised we would require some more help to enable them to realise their dreams.<\/p>\n<p>Young Enterprise Scotland contacted us with a fantastic opportunity which would be beneficial for both their Social Enterprise and St Joseph\u2019s School.<\/p>\n<p>They have applied for some money, from the Aviva Community Fund, to\u00a0give young people on their Landscaping Pathway programmes the opportunity to gain valuable work experience by creating new community gardens across East Renfrewshire. This will give disengaged young people the opportunity to build their skills and confidence by making practical improvements to their local communities.
