\n<\/strong>Welcome back to a new school year. This will be a busy year for our primary 7 pupils and already there are a number of exciting school trips planned.
\nSafety in the Park
\n<\/strong>On Wednesday 31st<\/sup> August,<\/strong> we shall take part in \u201cSafety in the Park\u201d in and around the grounds of Arthurlie House, Barrhead. This is a very worthwhile, half day event where the children will join in small group activities to highlight issues in areas such as traffic, fire, and internet safety
\nP7a and P7b 9am \u2013 12 pm
\nP7c and P7d, 12pm \u2013 3.00pm.
\n(P7c\/d will require to bring a packed lunch<\/strong>).
\nThe cost of the trip is \u00a32, to cover transport. Suitable outdoor jacket for the weather conditions of the day is required as many of the activities are outside. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Sky Academy Skills Studios
\n<\/strong>Primary 7 pupils will have a great experience when they visit Sky Academy in Livingston to go behind the scenes on an exclusive tour of Sky Studios and get the chance to work with all the latest technology to make their own TV report. Each class will\u00a0 cover a different topic:\u00a0 All attached documentation for Sky Studio must be completed and returned prior to the trip.
\n7a<\/strong> \u2013 Mobile Generation 2nd<\/sup> September
\n<\/strong>7b<\/strong> \u2013 Access to an Education 8th<\/sup> September
\n<\/strong>7c<\/strong> \u2013Stand Up and Be Counted 9th<\/sup> September
\n<\/strong>7d<\/strong> \u2013 Pedal Power 15th<\/sup> September
\n<\/strong>The children will leave the school and travel by coach to Livingston at 8.00am sharp.
\n<\/strong>\u00a0Cost of transport is \u00a36. Packed lunch required.
\n<\/strong>Lockerbie Manor
\n<\/strong>The children are already very excited about the forthcoming trip to Lockerbie Manor. There will be a meeting for parents on Tuesday 20th<\/sup> September from 6pm \u2013 7pm, where final details will be discussed and any questions answered.\u00a0 There is no need for pupils to attend.
\nDiocesan Mass
\n<\/strong>Primary 7 will attend the Diocesan Mass in St. Mirin\u2019s Cathedral on Thursday 6th<\/sup> October to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in Easter tide and also continue to develop the Pope Francis Award. They will leave school at 10am and return at 1pm. Packed lunch required.<\/strong><\/p>\n
