As you know, the children will soon begin their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation which will take place in April, during the weeks of Eastertide. Children belonging to St Joseph\u2019s parish or those who made their First Communion there can be confirmed in St Mirin\u2019s Cathedral, Paisley. Children belonging to St Vincent\u2019s and Holy Name parish can be confirmed in their own parish. For those children who were confirmed in Primary 4, I am sure their studies this year will deepen their understanding of the sacrament.\u00a0 Your child will be very welcome to join one of the masses and receive a blessing.\u00a0 Also, if your child has not made any of the sacraments, we would be very happy for your family to join us and your child can receive a blessing if you wish.
