To ease their transition into this and to allow you the chance to view this process in operation I would like to extend an invitation for you to join your child for their lunch in our Lunch Hall. The arrangements are as follows:<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>P1A\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Wednesday 27<sup>th<\/sup> August<br \/>\nP1B\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Thursday 28<sup>th<\/sup> August<br \/>\nP1C\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Friday 29<sup>th<\/sup> August<br \/>\nP1D\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Monday 1st September<br \/>\nP1E\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tuesday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> September<\/p>\n<p>Please arrive at the school at 12 o\u2019clock and assemble in the Mensa.Your child\u2019s SCN Number\/Pin and the procedure for paying for lunch is explained below<\/p>\n<p>Your child has been allocated an identification number (pin) and you will also need to know your child\u2019s Scottish Candidate Number (SCN). These numbers are given below.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Making Payments<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We would like to take this opportunity to explain the methods of payment.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pupils can bring a desired amount of lunch or tuck money to school and pay this into the Revaluation Machine.\u00a0 This can be paid daily or can be a pre-payment of your choice. It is often more advantageous for your child to have their account preloaded with a larger amount as the credit can then last them for a longer period of time\u00a0 If sending cash to be loaded the machine can only accept 10p, 20p, 50p, \u00a31 coins, \u00a32 coins or notes. <strong>The machine does not accept 5p coins or bronze.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>When making an online payment the number to be used is the 8 or 9 digit number e.g. 13578492 (do not prefix it with SCN: number only). Please remember to include your child\u2019s name when making an online payment. <strong>Our preferred method of payment is online.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The 4 digit pin number is used when the pupils are paying cash into the Revaluation Machine outside the office. We have a record in the office of every child\u2019s PIN number.<\/li>\n<li>Children can check their balance at the Revaluation Machine using PIN number.<\/li>\n<li>If your child is absent the money will still be kept on the system, they will not lose their money.<\/li>\n<li>Parents\/Carers can make payment on line via the Payment4Schools system.\u00a0 This can found on ERC home page \u201cOnline Services\u201d or via the link on the school website.\u00a0 If you do not have access to a computer to make online payments, Customer First at ERC Headquarters can help \u2013 577 3008.<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Free School Meals<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pupils receiving free school meals will be automatically allocated \u00a31.95 per day for their lunch.\u00a0 This will be added onto the system at 11am each day. Should your child be absent from school their \u00a31.95 free meal allocation will be removed from the system.\u00a0 This means your child cannot build up their free meal allocation during a period of absence. This free meal allocation does not apply to tuck shop. If buying tuck, tuck money should be loaded into the account.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Lost Lunch Money<\/span><\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Credit of \u00a31.95 will be given if a child has lost or forgets money.\u00a0 The school office staff will issue a \u201cvirtual voucher\u201d for \u00a31.95.
