{"id":4892,"date":"2013-11-18T15:49:47","date_gmt":"2013-11-18T14:49:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/OurLadyMissions\/?p=4892"},"modified":"2013-11-18T15:49:47","modified_gmt":"2013-11-18T14:49:47","slug":"countdown-to-the-our-lady-of-the-missions-psa-christmas-fayre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/OurLadyMissions\/2013\/11\/18\/countdown-to-the-our-lady-of-the-missions-psa-christmas-fayre\/","title":{"rendered":"COUNTDOWN TO THE Our Lady of the Missions PSA CHRISTMAS FAYRE!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Saturday 7th December 2013\u00a0\u00a0 1pm-3.30pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>WEEK 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You probably haven\u2019t even had time to put your Hallowe\u2019en decorations away, or clear up the fireworks, but it is now time to move on to organising our annual Christmas Fayre which this year is on Saturday 7th December.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>To help us manage the donations, as in previous years, we will request that items are brought in on a week-by-week basis leading up to the Fayre.\u00a0 If every family could donate one thing each week we will have an amazing day!<\/p>\n<p>Clear out your cupboards of all the new unused gifts you have accumulated during the year and also make room for Santa coming in a few weeks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In this first week we are looking for:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Books, DVDs, Computer games and Tombola items.<\/span><\/strong> There must be lots out there looking for a new home. Grown up and children\u2019s books in good condition and DVDs and computer games. Also fancy goods &#8211; unwanted beauty care sets, fancy goods, jewellery.\u00a0 Please also hand in any gift bags you have \u2013 these can be any type of gift bag.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Over the next few weeks we will be looking for donations for the following stalls:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bottles <\/strong><strong>\u2013<\/strong> <strong>w\/c 25<sup>th<\/sup> Nov<\/strong>, (anything unopened!) such as wine, beer, miniatures or even champagne!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Toys<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>w\/c 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Dec<\/strong> in good condition please, with any boxed games\/toys sealed.<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Home-baking<\/strong> \u2013 Donations on Friday evening (6<sup>th<\/sup> December) or on the day of the Fayre\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Donations of any kind can, of course, be handed in at any time and also on the evening of <strong>Friday 6<sup>th<\/sup> December (until 8.30pm)<\/strong>, while the stalls are being set up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GRAND PRIZE RAFFLE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Later this week will send home tickets for our Grand Raffle.\u00a0 We already have some amazing prizes, however donations are always welcome, so if you have any contacts then please let us know.\u00a0 Each family will be allocated 2 books of tickets.\u00a0 If you require additional tickets please contact the school.
