Where a child requires medication during the school day, please ensure that you contact the school to complete an administration form that is available at the school office.\u00a0<strong>Please note that medication cannot be administered without this form being completed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Occasionally it may be necessary for a child to be taken home due to accidents or ill health. In all cases the school makes every effort to contact a parent in the first instance.\u00a0 If a parent is not available the school will make contact with the child\u2019s emergency contact for the necessary arrangements to be made.\u00a0 It is essential, therefore, for the school to have an\u00a0<strong><u>emergency contact<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0who can be reached by\u00a0<strong><u>telephone\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>should any child have to be taken home unexpectedly.\u00a0 Under no circumstances will a child be sent home \/ allowed to leave the school unaccompanied.<\/p>\n<p>Medical and dental examinations are arranged from time to time by the Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS Trust.
