They are presented with a range of different contexts for learning which draw on important aspects of everyday life and work. Children are encouraged to develop curiosity and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">understanding of the environment and their place in the living, material and physical world. Through practical, interesting and fun investigations children are made more aware of the impact the sciences make on their lives, the environment and on society.
