Attachments this week are: I hope you had a really lovely weekend, including many of you who may have taken part in some Halloween fun at home and in the community.\u00a0 Some of our wonderful P7 House Councillors teamed up with the PTA over the weekend to help at the Linn Park Equestrian Centre Halloween Event.\u00a0 A great deal of fun was had by all, including a brilliant pumpkin competition and a very successful tuck shop.\u00a0 House Councillors were applauded and complimented greatly for their helpfulness, manners, politeness, \u201cexcellent customer service\u201d and enthusiasm- fantastic!\u00a0 Well done to Oisin, Charlie and Hashim- I am extremely proud of each of you and thank you also for giving of your time so readily over the weekend to help and support the PTA.<\/p>\n Poppy Donations<\/strong> COP26 ECO House<\/strong> Pavilion Parking<\/strong> Parent Council (PC) Highlights Newsletter<\/strong> Pupil Parliament<\/strong> A Day in the Life of \u2026.. \nNPC Meeting Highlights<\/a><\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>From tomorrow, Tuesday, our P7 pupils will be organising and running the annual Poppy Donation Appeal ahead of their Remembrance Assembly on the 11th<\/sup> November. \u00a0\u00a0If your child would like to make a small<\/em>\u00a0donation\u00a0then P7 pupils will go round classes from tomorrow, and in return your child will receive a poppy.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>There has been, and will continue to be, lots of interesting and extremely important learning taking place in school in relation to COP26.\u00a0 Please continue to look at our Twitter Feed link<\/a>\u00a0to keep in touch with all the interesting learning that takes place every day in school and nursery. We are delighted that some of our pupils will also have the opportunity to take part in a live video call with one of our dads, who is an architect, and has been greatly involved in the COP26 ECO House.\u00a0\u00a0 The pupils will be able to take a virtual tour of the house and also take part in a Question and Answer session.\u00a0 Thank you very much for getting in touch with us Mr Smith, and for offering this unique experience to our pupils, we are very grateful and I know the children will both enjoy the opportunity and will also benefit greatly from it too.\u00a0 If you would like to know more about the ECO COP26 House, feel free to click on this link.\u00a0 https:\/\/www.beyondzerohomes.co.uk\/<\/a><\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>We have been working very hard in school to establish our Netherlee Pupil Parliament as outlined as one of the actions in our School and Nursery Improvement Plan link<\/a>.\u00a0 \u00a0 Please read our flyer<\/a> which will provide a little more information to you about this but please do ask your child to let you know what their \u201cclass mission\u201d is and which strand of the Pupil Parliament they belong to.<\/p>\n
