As we come to the end of this very quick term the leaves are changing colour and the days are getting shorter. Before we start cosying up for the cold winter nights we\u2019ll all enjoy the October Week holiday. We look forward to hearing all the children\u2019s news when they return after Tuesday 19<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> October.<\/span><\/p>\n

In-service Day Monday 18th<\/sup> October\u00a0 (children don\u2019t attend nursery or school)<\/span><\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/u><\/b>During our In-service Day staff will be engaging in training on Gender Equal Play, refreshing our Healthy Eating policy and learning about Early Years Tracking Tool. We will also review progress towards targets in our SNIP (School and Nursery Improvement Plan).<\/span><\/p>\n

Hand, Foot and Mouth<\/span><\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/u><\/b>We\u2019ve had a few <\/span>parents recently letting us know that their child<\/span> has Hand, Foot and Mouth<\/span>. Hand, <\/span>Foot and <\/span>Mouth <\/span>Disease is a common childhood illness that can also affect adults. It usually gets better on its own in 7 to 10 days. Scarecrow Festival<\/span><\/strong>
\n<\/u><\/b>We\u2019ve worked this week to make our two scarecrows the children named \u2018Harry O\u2019Hay\u2019 and \u2018Miss Buttershine\u2019. Remember to say \u2018hello\u2019 to them if you see them. Please click on the link on the attached Scarecrow Trail flyer.<\/span><\/p>\n
