Message from the Head Teacher

On behalf of the staff, parents and children of Neilston Primary and Madras Family Centre, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you, your child or children and your family. I hope that you will feel welcome in the campus and that both you and your child will quickly feel part of our learning community.

Every day, in every child’s home, “on the floor” in our Family  Centre, across every lesson, in every classroom, all of our children and young people encounter thought-provoking and stimulating experiences, for success in life, learning and work.

Having both Neilston Primary and Madras Family Centre within the one Campus, we are fortunate to be able to provide seamless transitions across Curriculum for Excellence for all our learners. Building excellent partnerships with our associated senior school – Eastwood High – ensures that the transition for our primary seven children is purposeful and meaningful as they move on to their secondary education.

We are extremely proud of our campus which provides quality education to meet the demands of our 21st century learners from the age of 2 – 12 year old. We are also very proud of our children, our staff and parents who, together have created the positive, warm, welcoming ethos across our School and Centre which permeates our successful establishment.

We make full use of the excellent facilities here and state of the art IT equipment, to enhance our children’s learning experiences.
