Congratulations to all S1 pupils for dressing up to celebrate World Book Day last week.
Your costumes were fantastic as was your enthusiasm for taking part in the Big Book Quiz. All House teams performed wonderfully and the audience gave great contributions and support.
The winning quiz team was Ramsay gaining 100 vital points for their house.
On Sunday 25th March 2012, the PTA are going to be holding a Fashion Show courtesy of Matalan Stores in Darnley.
We are looking for budding models, boys and girls, from S1 to S3 to participate in the fundraiser and at the end of the event parents and friends will be given the opportunity of a discounted shopping evening.

There will be a Rag Bag collection of unwanted lost property on Friday 9th March.
Please go and check if you have any lost property hanging up outside the Dining Hall.
Any remaining items will be packaged and given to the Rag Bag Charity.
The colours committee will meet in the next couple of weeks so this is the final call for this terms colours applications.
Remember the form can be downloaded from school web site or picked up from pupil support office.
Remember if it is a personal achievement then points can be awarded for your house and you may achieve House colours!

Huge congratulations to Iain Dunlop, Johny Shaw, Josh Gray and ex-pupil Kevin Archer who have made the 2012 Scotland Junior Squad after 8 hours of lacrosse and 2 hours of fitness testing last weekend. These players will be competing in the British National Championships in Manchester come March. Depending on performance and fitness these players may make the cut to play in the World Championships which will be held in Finland in the summer.
An honourable mention goes out to Matthew Hill who, as well as being selected for the Junior Squad fixtures above, has also been shortlisted for the Men’s Senior Squad who will be competing in the Senior European Championships in Amsterdam in July.
