There will be a booksale in the library everyday during Charities Week. Pupils can visit the booksale before and after school and every lunchtime from 12.55pm-1.20pm. All books will cost 50p with money raised going to charity. Come along and have a browse and pick up a bargain book!
Thanks to those of you who submitted an entry for the above competition. I am delighted to say that the winner, from across all schools in Scotland, for the Creating Writing category is Anjali Kashyap S1. Anjali has also earned points for Gleneagles house. Congratulations, Anjali! Very well done!
The winner of last month’s Famous Moment in Lego was Calum Dron, S6, who correctly identified the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in August 1945.
If you look very closely the best clue was in the design of the houses. Calum should come and see Miss Thomson in F9 to collect his prize, a £15 i-tunes voucher.
Keep your eyes peeled for the next Famous Moment which the HIstory Club will be launching this week – some say it is the toughest one yet!
Sixth year pupil, Iona Lundi makes and sells her own recycled jewellery, which will be on sale next week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday). The jewellery includes can-pull purses, book bags, keyboard badges and bottlecap necklaces. Prices range from 50p to £7.00. Come and check it out in the open area.
