Cern 2017
40 Physics pupils congregate outside the reception of CERN. Another successful trip organised by the Physics Department to Geneva, Switzerland. The pupils learned about the sophisticated logistics of particle physics where two counter rotating protons travelling at relativistic speeds smash each other at the CMS detector.
Team leaders Mr Guidi, Mr Foley, Mr Bradley and Mrs Ward were all personally thanked by the pupils for this exciting adventure into another universe!
