Smallpeice Trust and GCHQ Offer for Computing Students

The Smallpeice Trust has partnered with the GCHQ security agency to inspire, engage and enlist a generation of teenage tech wizards by creating a series of unique FREE courses across the UK.

Taking place this summer at Glasgow Caledonia University on 26-29 July 2016, the 4 day CyberFirst Futures residential course will offer 16-17 year old’s the opportunity to work closely with experts from the GCHQ.

Students must be British nationals and have 5 passes at National 5 or above (must include Maths and Science/Computing ).

The cyber sector has seen great investment in recent years and the UK now earns £2bn in cyber security exports. This emerging sector is driving the need for new recruits with good Maths and STEM skills, as cyber security will become a key component for many businesses, homes and individuals.

Places are FREE (50) and will be allocate on a first come basis provided the criteria is met.
